Over nearly a decade-and-a-half at the Delaware beaches, the Oldfather Group has been fortunate to employ some of the best staff and partner with some of the finest real estate agents in the state. In subsequent years, this has extended into all of Delaware, as well as parts of Maryland and Pennsylvania.
We’ve been blessed in many ways and that continues through what’s been a challenging 2020 for all of us.
Through our time in the coastal region, we’ve prided ourselves on being an integral part of the community and working collaboratively to not only grow the business, but also the hard working people who we’re blessed to call employees and friends.
This eventually led to the grand opening of Motto Mortgage Prosperity in December of 2018, a natural extension of our real estate business at the Delaware and Maryland beaches.
And it continues into 2020 with the launching of We Insure Prosperity, which is headquartered in Milton and is now serving all of the coastal region.
Led by long-time insurance industry specialist Diane McManus, the Oldfather Group’s insurance arm strives not only to add to the “one stop shopping” environment (real estate, mortgage, homeowners insurance) but also to fill a bit of a void in the area.
“Our biggest advantage is that we’re a broker and we have affiliations with many different insurance carriers. So we can shop different prices and companies to ensure that our clients receive the best coverage at the best rates,” says McManus, who moved to Delaware recently after a career with State Farm Insurance in Philadelphia. “We work for the client rather than the insurance company, which really makes a big difference.”
We’ll tell you more about Diane in a moment, but first please allow us to introduce her via the video below.
In addition to adding homeowners insurance to the already existing real estate and mortgage packages offered by the company, We Insure Prosperity also features insurance in areas that include automobile, health, business, renters and life.
And having Diane and her decades of experience on board, clients should have sky high expectations when dealing with the new company.
“It’s important to realize that everyone’s situation is different. And really, who wants to make all of those calls to various insurance companies by themselves?,” says McManus. “I can do all of the shopping for our clients to save them the hassle of doing so, but I can also find them a better deal and a better situation in most instances.”
Diane moved to Delaware’s coastal region earlier this year, drawn by the beaches and the lower cost of living. After just a few months, she’s kind of wondering what took her so long.
“I love so many things about the area. Coming from a big city like Philadelphia, it’s very different that everyone is so friendly and the area is so clean,” she says. “I love that I can be in a developed area one minute and then out in a country setting five minutes later. And the beach is also nearby, which is a big plus.”
And another big difference between city life and living at the Delaware beaches: “I couldn’t believe it, but I knew all of my neighbors within the first week we were here.”
We Insure Prosperity is currently open and serving the insurance needs of southern Delaware residents. The firm’s offices are located in the Paynter’s Mill community of Milton, above the offices of Motto Mortgage Prosperity.
