With only a couple of weeks left in the traditional Memorial Day to Labor Day summer season, this weekend is a fantastic opportunity to get out and enjoy all there is to do here in Delaware and Maryland’s coastal region.
We’ve got several great events to highlight this week in our “Weekender Blog,” brought to you every Wednesday by the real estate professionals at the Oldfather Group of Ocean Atlantic Sotheby’s International Realty.
Before we tell you all about what’s happening during the weekend of August 24-26, however, let us first take this opportunity to introduce you to Richard DeCore, one of our valued and respected agents at the Oldfather Group.
Here’s Richard with a quick video preview of this weekend’s activities along the coast.

The event is a fundraiser for the Foundation Fighting Blindness, and more information about both the charity and the event can be found HERE.
Movies on the Beach (August 27). Held every Monday night during the season, these family friendly movies are fun for everyone. Bring your family, a blanket, and some popcorn to the beach for family movie night!
Movies will start at approximately 8:30 p.m. on the beach at Garfield Parkway in Bethany Beach. This weekend, the featured showing in Bethany Beach is “Wonder.”
The Movies on the Beach have concluded for 2018 in Dewey Beach.
