The Summer of 2018 is entering its final weeks, which means that it won’t be long before the kids are back in school and the dog days of summer begin transitioning into the cooler temperatures of autumn.
But until the fine folks in Bethany Beach officially lay the summer to rest with their annual jazz funeral, coming up in a few weeks, there’s still plenty of fun outdoor things to do here at the Delaware and Maryland beaches.
And we’re here to tell you all about them in our weekly “Weekender Blog,” as always brought to you by the real estate professionals at the Oldfather Group of Ocean Atlantic Sotheby’s International Realty in Rehoboth Beach.
But before we do, here’s our very own Mariya Oldfather with a quick video preview of this weekend’s activities.
Okay, let’s jump right into what’s happening this weekend here in the coastal region. We have seaside fun in Dewey Beach, some special events in Lewes and Rehoboth Beach, and one of the most culturally diverse festivals of the season in nearby Seaford.
And those are just the annual events. As always between Memorial Day and Labor Day, there’s never a shortage of fun things to do at the beach.
Whatever you choose to do, we hope you fully enjoy the final weeks of the Summer of 2018. Now, here are our choices for this coming weekend at and near the Delaware and Maryland coast.
